The Store

In support of our classroom curriculum, The Finishing Source provides our students with a retail and resource center, The Finishing Source, which is conveniently located next to the school in the heart of Atlanta's design district.

We stock an extensive assortment of the materials and tools used by our students in class and on the job, including a full line of Faux Effects ® International products as well as trowels, tapes, brushes, books, stencils, gilding and schaibin supplies and waxes. We are also pleased to place special orders for custom stencils and imprints. Any item can be carried with you when you leave the store, or we will be happy to ship it directly to your home, business, or job site for a nominal fee. And remember, each item purchased from our store will count toward valuable MVP points for program members.

In a continuing effort to help our students set themselves apart from other decorative artists, our resource center provides a variety of assets, which will enable the artist and his or her designer to choose the right finish. We have many beautifully displayed samples which are presented in a variety of ways, including full walls and 4' x 8' samples. We, also have samples of all the of Faux Effects ® materials and over 3000 custom mixed Setcoat™ colors.

The staff of our resource center is also committed to providing every student with friendly and professional service. We want our students' experience as decorative artists to be both fun and profitable. Our staff is always willing to draw from their several years of field experience to answer technical questions about all the finishes we teach and the materials we sell.
