Details methods of Venetian plastering using Venetian Gem™; a marble based plaster developed to easily produce high quality, multi-sheen, colored plaster finishes. Students will explore application methods and skills using twenty pre-mixed colors as well as their own custom colors. Venetian Gem produces finishes of warmth, elegance and excitement similar to other troweled plaster methods but with a wider range of variety. It is a gem because it is easy to use and produces such versatile finishes that it is the envy of more traditional plaster methods.
